I DID IT! GAMMA RAY WILL BE IN MINNESOTA!

We also got skipped for the Helloween tour.

Yes Sworldlord does killer shows. He was a great business partner with the Beyond Fear show and I am excited to work with him on this show.

Oh well I guess Chicago gets the short end of the stick yet again. I'd love to know the thinking or lack of that goes behind the tour management. SIGH

Solution: Get in your car and drive to Minnesota. The show isnt for a while, so there is plenty of time to make arrangements. And its not like Minnesota is a hefty financial commitment, or a bad drive.

Who's the booking agency for Gamma Ray? It isn't the same guy that did the U.S. booking for Sonata Arctica and Sodom/Fintroll tours is it?

A promoter here in Utah tath I know has been trying to get these tours here, but the guy never returens his calls/emails.

Awesome job Nathan. I couldn't make it to SA because of some stupid midterms, but NOTHING will stop me this time. See you in May, man!

Yeah man, I was looking for you at Sonata -- you were missed! I truly hope you can make it out for Gamma Ray, this show is going to SO RULE!

that's pretty cool man, i wish more people concentrated on doing things like this, instead of just sitting at home and whining about it.

awesome dude.

Wow ... that's a very fine compliment -- it is much appreciated.

I am truly looking forward to presenting another fine evening of metal and being able to meet some metal legends that I worship. :worship: The Sonata show was just amazing for that ... Tony Kakko is just one of the most amazingly cool people in the universe.

I still haven't gotten over the Sonata show and now this!!!!

I MUST have to come up with something at work to be in MN on that date. I'm supposed to leave MN at the end of March (so I barely get to catch Dream Theater before going home.)

<Cartman voice>
Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no way, you're the dude that was there from Puerto Rico?!?! :OMG:

Dude, you have NO IDEA how cool it was to have you at the Sonata show! You were so into it and I enjoyed hanging out, definitely too brief! I hope you'll be able to attend the Gamma Ray show -- I'll make sure you get to shake Kai's hand. :headbang:

slay!

so are there dates available yet? all I see so far are Jaxx, Toronto, and yours.

I've been told by the agent that my date will officially close the tour -- they will be flying back home immediately following my show.

This is wonderful news for me obviously because this means that we are the only midwest/midcountry stop -- I'd like to think we are going to pull from a pretty wide area which hopefully means I'll just lose the car and not the house! :tickled:

Looks like another rock n roll road trip....

Powerfest in April, Now THIS in may.......

Cool! Good job dude! Hope it at least breaks even for ya!

J-Dubya

Thanks man! I'll be looking for you at POWERFEST -- can't wait for another one of those, had so much fun at last years with Tad Mo-f&kn-rose!

As for the break-even thing ... yeah ... me too ... if the show goes south on me, when you see the little pup-tent outside of Earthlink for PP7 this year, that will be me cuz I can't afford a hotel room! :tickled:

Had a great time in Minnesota for Sonata. And even though I don't really care much for Gamma Ray, I would consider going just to support Nathan.

For anyone who has not attended one of Nathan's shows, I highly recommend making the trip. The man is like a freakin celebrity there. But he takes the time to make everyone feel genuinely welcomed to his show, and true to form is front row going nuts.

Thanks for the Sonata show Nathan, and I cant wait to make it up there for another one.

Matt

Dude, it's people like you that make this music great. I said this to you the night of Sonata, but it's nice to say it to you publicly because I mean it.

I have friends in Minnesota that didn't drive across town for the show and I've known them a lot longer than I've known you. Yet you drove 8 hours to rock out with me to Finland's finest ... now THAT'S a metal brother!

Incidentally, thanks for crashing through the crowd to rock out with me to the last couple of songs, that was awesome! I kept looking for you when I was onstage, but the damn lights ... I couldn't see anything!

If you can make it up for Gamma Ray, try and stay through Saturday -- we can spend some time raising hell in Minneapolis -- I'll show you the sites and we can party.

Thanks for everything dude, you are definitely one of the coolest people I have ever met thanks to METAL! :headbang:

Congrats and good luck. I hope your love of metal doesn't deplete your bank account.

Hey man! It was so great running into you at the Crusade!

Heh heh ... you have a very good point. Some people gamble away their money, some drink it away, some spend it on women ... I'll spend it on metal -- seems a safer indulgence! :loco:

Congrats Nathan! I know this is something you really wanted to happen! Kudos to you and and all your hard work!

BTW, GA already has Glenn, so Nightmare1z desire to have you live in GA would be overkill. Instead, you need to move to the MD/DC/VA area! :Spin:

Thanks brother, I appreciate the well-wishes!

Well, let's hope I win the lottery or something because then I can just put tours anywhere and not worry about making my money back!

Actually, if I DID win the lottery, I would move to Vegas and open up a casino. One floor of the casino would be a concert venue, decorated like something out of a science fiction film. It would be this venue that I would have all my shows at and they would be completely free of charge as long as you stayed at the casino. Think about it ... a metal casino ... how cool would that be?

Okay, okay, so I've watched OCEAN'S 11 too many times ... so sue me. :tickled:

Dude, I was so hoping you were going to be at Sonata! You have to be at Gamma Ray, we need to hang out and wave the mighty swords of metal in the air! :headbang:

Dude I totally wanted to be there, but money is a major factor in everything I do. I only work at Subway and I have a problem getting job, kind of personal stuff. Anyway if I can hopefully get a better job, I will for sure be at the Gamma Ray concert.

HOLY GOODNESS - WAY TO GO NATHAN!! :kickass:
Gamma Ray AND Miles Beyond AND Ion Vein?! Wooooooo!
I hope to heaven that I can make it to this one! I'm behind you
all the way no matter what! Kick-ass, bro!

Dead or alive I will be there. I will dig my way out of my grave to see Gamma Ray in the heartland. I can't see well enough to drive so I'll try to round up a couple more attendees who can, otherwise I'll fly in. One way or another I will not miss Gamma Ray making it this close to my home in KAnsas City.

Thank You Swordlord and all those who helped to make this happen.

Swordlord's Dreamland, Minnesota here I come!!!
