GODDAMM ROOM VERB/SAMPLES?!

hey guys

normally i get about 85 percent of my snare sounds from my room samples,

however i just downloaded the LSD drum snares and i cannot get them to sit right with slate room samples, obviously its not even the same snare etc.

so my thought is should i send the lsd snare off to a verb and compress that as i still use my built in superior room ......confused.com

The Samplicity ones sound better than the Acoustica and are available as true stereo, get those.

I tried the bricasti stuff and really like the wooden impulses but how do you deal with the CPU hunger?

I use Kefir and have to trim the lenght if I don't wanna risk a CPU overload(Phenom X4 955 btw...)
Is there any other way(except bouncing), haven't had problems with guitar impulses, as they are much much shorter though.
