goin to see korn tonight...

is terry bozzio still playing drums?

No, they released him from his services after he insisted on becoming a "full" band member. Which is quite understandable if you're only looking for a hired gun. Even if you're hired gun smokes basically every drummer around.

nostalgia is undeniable.

when listening subjectively today to stuff I loved in 1997, I'm like "wtf was I thinking," but thanks to the nostalgia, who are still able to hear the merits that attracted you to the music when you were younger.

especially when you're drunk.

I've never seen them, but I imagine that if the sound is good and the singer doesn't blow live, that low end would be pretty devastating and awesome to see/hear.

Will I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Staind. I remember a few years ago I listed Aaron Lewis as one of my top 10 singers and you agree he had a great voice.

I love Staind. They got me out of rap and I just rediscovered how great they were for two albums.

i really like Dysfunction. actually listened to that cd for the first time in probobly 3 years the other day. aaron lewis does have a really good voice. are they still around or what?

edit: and i know i'm not will. almost, but not quite.

Well I was refering to Break The Cycle and 14 Shades. Falling Down is my favorite rock song evar. Dysfunction eh...I like but it's really nu-metalish. The one before that was worse "Tormented" but it had a great ballad at the end. The last album sucked. Apparantly this new one is supposed to be going back to their "metal roots" -_-, so yeah.
