Going for a KSE tone with the Rockmaster

It's an EMG-81 on the bridhe position. AFAIK the tubes are a couple of months old JJ's, I got the unit from Jevil a while back. I'm thinking of experimenting with Tung Sols, though.

your clip has a bit slower tempo and the tone has a bit more gain than kse, but if really want it closer to the kse, its the +6khz area that needs a small boost. I added this with Waves Renessaince EQ: http://www.ahjteam.com/upload/yourpurse.mp3

+1.0dB, 11khz, bell, width 0.8
+2.0dB, 2.5khz, bell, width 0.8

edit: I take that back, it made it sound a bit tighter, but thats a good thing, right?
