When we arrived Pure Inc. was playing , didn't notice much going on, so we left to did a quick check on the LSP-metal recordshop next to the concert hall...My mate bought the new Freedom Call, we listened to it in the car, sounds much too happy,happy metal to me !!
After Pure Inc came Rob Rock, wich took me completely by suprise... I had heard their album Eyes of Eternity , wich is pretty good, but live this band sounded superb, mostly by the very , very good vocals of Rob Rock himselve.Very good & heavy oldschool based US-metal style !!!! I loved this band and I await their new album "Holy Hell" , to appear 4th of April..

I think the public shared my suprise in this band, they got very good support!
Next up was Circle II Circle, with former Savatage vocalist Zak Stevens. I wish they could, but the band just didn't touch me ... only the Savatage songs were really good, and that's a bad thing. CIIC needs to have more solid songs on their own, now it's just a nice riff, than the song dies completely, another nice riff, song dies...etc...of course it's a very proffessional band and Zak's vocals are awesome, but it sounded too, mmm, dare I say ; commercial?? hmm, commercial is maybe a bad word, don't know, in any way it didn't seem "genuin" to me. Well, if it's your piece of cake this must be good, just give me some MASTERPLAN !! This band is great on record , and live they are equally good !! Jorn's voice needed some warming up, but after a few songs we got the full load , singing seems too easy for this guy!! This band really needs big stages, I dare to say they can match up with big oldschool names !! They also like the thing they are doing, they enjoy every moment of it. Haha, if there's any bad thing to tell; a lady that joined us said the Masterplan guys look pretty ugly
Almost the full 2 albums were played, and the public really got into Masterplan, as they deserve. Jorn left the public to sing some parts and this really must have made a great live-record ...Monsters and demons - crawling from hell !!!!! Killer band, go and see them if you got the chance , best money I spent lately !!
