I want to ask and share somehting that has puzzled me forever! I don't know about you, but I would bet that the solo was played by Andy Laroque from King Diamond. There is no way possible anyone can sound like Andy but only Andy. His awesome vibrato, fast runs, and trademark harmonies are all over the place in that solo just listen over and over! Its not confirmed in the booklet who played that solo exaclty but like I said I'm willing to bet it is! Who is with me?

But you're wrong, friend. Ofcourse you may be right about the Andy Laroque signatures that the solo's carrying but solo is totally a Björn Gelotte material (written, played and recorded by him)

Bjorn was on drums on The Jester Race/Black-Ash Inheritance/Whoracle era. I don't think he did any guitar duties at that moment although his original instrument is the guitars.
