I did a search on the forum via google and found no results. does anyone have any good resources for optimizing a pc with vista specifically for audio? I know some of the basic stuff like turning off indexing, defender, virus scanning, and a couple other things along those lines. but I would love to see more. it looks like I'm going to be stuck on my vista based pc for longer than I hoped due to exhausting my unemployment benefits and the economy sucking greatly (especially in the state of Ohio).
I would gladly make an optimizing guide with what I learn if there was a demand for it. or should I not even bother since windows 7 just came out?
