Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure why that comment about people loathing Dream Theater was thrown out. It's not true!

Dream Theater was my first introduction to prog, and I still love them as much as I did back when I first discovered them. Glad to see there's another fan of both bands joining here. DT and SX are two of the best bands out there, period.

Ah, glad someone mentioned Rush. Where would prog be without them?
