I think so!

I dig this amp a lot. Very "European metal" sounding. It went great at band practice, cut through just fine and sounded excellent. It kicks ass with CL80s.

It sounds almost how I got my HD147 sounding as well, definitely the same territory.

I sold the VHT to fund the Powerball. I got it from a friend on the ESP guitar forums, $1550 shipped.

Hell Yeah!!! I own a ENGL Powerball as well. Have had it for about 2 1/2 years. Hands down the best amp I have played. Very versatile. I play it thru 2 2x12 Vader cabinets.
