Hello!
Well I have had this amp (Mesa Boogie Dual Rec 3CH) for a few months now. I have it running through a Randall 4x12 cab with v30s and I got a decimator pedal and had it running through the FX loop. It worked fine for every show I played, but I brought it into the studio where we are recording and set it up, the decimator wouldn't cut hardly any of the noise out! And this thing is just pissing noise. I had it set all the way up on the highest possible threshold and it was still just ugly sounding. The tone of the amp itself is still there, but the noise is just ridiculous...
I have tried different power supplies, batteries, adjusting the knobs on the back of the amp and the output on the front. Nothing has worked yet!
Someone please shed some insight on this bitch of a problem I'm having. . .
