So the US government went ahead and helped armed sunni militias to defeat alquaeda in tough regions of iraq. Awsome, less american soldiers will die trying to put some order in that shitland country. :headbang:

But wait, the Shiites are not happy :zombie: , because they hate the sunni's and don't want to see them armed. And now they are pissed at the US, but didnt the US helped them out quit a bit??? Oh wait i forgot, we did help them and then they turned their back on us and went to Iran to get money and weapons. :loco: :loco:

So comon sense is, lets give guns to sunnis, whom where killing US soldiers since the war started, and have them do the other dirty job that we cant seem to trust shiites with.

I think this plan is fuckin great o_O o_O o_O

Doesn't this ring a bell anyone??? didn't we arm the talibans to fight the russians, weren't they on our side fight the evil commies for us? And what happened next???

Oh well lets see where it goes.

The CIA indirectly funneled weapons and training to the fighters in Afghanistan back in the 80's. Through some weird islamic pride or whatnot, the fighters would not accept direct assistance from the USA. So the CIA got balls deep in Pakistan and had Pakistani agents get the weapons in. I think really the big thing was the stinger missles that they got. Because before that, those beautiful sexy MI-24 was reaking havoc.

I was pleased to see the Sunni's running out the foreign fighters. It was really only a matter of time. Of course they were united in hatred for America, but they finally realized that "hey, if we get these fucks out of here, life will improve!" Wow..it does ever so slightly. Ramadi was a huge shithole death trap, and it still is a huge shit hole death trap, but not so bad anymore.

But arming them? That NEVER works! I think the only example of a people getting armed and fighting an enemy and becoming a good country was...us! (read USA) Otherwise it has failed everywhere else. Haiti rebelled against the French..does anyone go to Haiti for vacation? Ill be there right after my 5 dollar lobster dinner in Cambodia. Its a holidy in Cambodia!.. Arming fighters in Afghanistan worked, but they also used the stingers against us, without any success, back in 2001.

With Iraq, I think America did a good thing getting rid of Hussein, his two psycho kids, and a those cocksuckers who gassed the Iranians and their own people. But the BIGGEST mistake, was disbanding the military. That led to the looting of the weapons and bombs. Im sure if that wouldnt have happened, some stability would still be there. To totally just wipe the Baath party out like we did was stupid. Again, politicians were playing soldier.

The least amount of Americans could of died, zero, if we stayed the fuck out of the country. Instead, apparently, the best thing for the country was to demolish their government, causing ridiculous amounts of civil unrest and then give "democracy" to a country who are desperately in need of one sole leader.. And it always helps to steal the prime source of economy, as well.. The whole war there is a joke, as at the time, Bush could of just as easily accused any of the middle eastern countries of being associated with Al Qaeda successfully, and he did, Iraq, trading a few thousand dead American soldiers and about 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians to help keep him extremely rich well after presidency.. Yet no politician is ready to leave their constant flow of oil over from the Middle East, as if they were, they wouldn't of tried to establish democracy, which any sane person would know is going to fail in any country that's just been as politically and socio-economically raped by the US as Iraq had been..

The oil arguement isnt valid in America. Europe gets that oil. We get ours from down south, Mexico, Venezuela, some from CAnada. African provides some and Saudi and Iraq do too, with Saudi being number 1 among middle eastern imports. But those only account for 30% maybe. We only import slightly over half of our oil. If this war was about oil, then we should be bathing in it after dinner time since Iraq has massive reserves.

And not to defend Bush, but it wasnt like he just picked on Iraq out of the blue. Ever since their invasion of Kuwait back in August 1990 (off the top of my head..I think) they have been treading water. Does that mean we should kill them because they would stupidly lock radar with one of our fighter jets, thus assuring their imminent death? Probably not, but it wasn't out of the blue. I seriously believe that when people saw how quickly we took Afghanistan, which soviets predicted Vietnam2, someone decided Iraq would be easy sleazy. And..it was. Our military rolled in, whooped their ass from all directions, case closed. Like I said earlier, some politician decided to just, as you said it, rape their entire government system and structure. That is what fucked that country up. Their military shouldn't have been disbanded, they all surrendered right away. Air Force, well....Iran has what is left of that lol.

I heard the U.S. allows one AK-47 per Iraqi household for defense. Personally I don't get the whole "armed civilian" thing in that part of the world. I mean, it is traditional (what would a Kurd be without his belt o bullets?) but its not helpful for defense in that land. I doubt uncle Saddam allowed weapons in the hands of civilians!

Oh well. So many things went wrong in Iraq after our brilliant and historic victory...

If I win the lottery (hah!) I'd devote a grand portion of it to building a REAL monument to VICTORY OVER IRAQ, from Shock N Awe until "Mission Accomplished!"

Fuck everything else and sweep it under the carpet of unhappy memories.
