Greasy Hands

Sometimes when it's hot and humid here in Nashville, I sweat. Occasionally, I will swipe my hair back from my face with my left hand. This leaves my hand kinda greasy and thus difficult to play guitar. Comments?

agreed. i still don't get how some dudes in bands can play such loooong ass, and technical sets, and not like slide all over the place on their necks/drum sticks with sweat haha. talent i suppose.

Mr. D, that is by far the best response ive ever received. i expected to get kicked off the board for that but you agreed with me. You have good points. I dont understand how dudes can play with real long hair. Do you KNOW where your guitar is? can you SEE it?
now im eating doritos so its doubly difficult.

strange....i kinda like it when my fretting hand gets greasy...i use neck grease....(that one rub-on stuff)......helps me play faster....what i really hate is when my hand gets dry and sticky.

oh, and by dry guitar hands, i meant i don't like when your skin is like REALLY overdry and the skin is all weird, like an alligators ass. i didn't mean i like them soaked.

lopez looks like he sweats the amount of a keg in opeths gigs. I kinda wonder how he doesnt let a stick fly and knock mike upside his head while hes in awe playing a certain guitar part thus ruining his moment.

haha, he does look like he's in the pouring rain with no rain cloud above him. lopez is an excellent drummer. can't wait to see the guys again.

i have no experience in guitar playing, just drums. and that was only for a year before my teacher moved quite a way away and i wasnt motivated to get another one.
