Greasy Hands

Any technique to warm up your hands for guitar playing ? I hate playing with cold fingers...
scales. boring but thats the only thing i can bring myself to do. trying to play with cold fingers is the most annoying thing possible.

more guitar queries: if you find it difficult or annoying to play certain chords or they just arent feeling right, does that mean your pick is too thin? im playing with "heavy" picks but they just dont feel good. comments?

heh. the past few posts are a little late to partake in D1 and D2s banter and thus missed the "feel" of the thread. funny responses though. i DID shower today; notice however that i said it is hot and humid here. D1 could feel my pain. why not you guys?

if you play electric, how do you not break your strings with a heavy pick? if it doesnt feel right though then yea you probably have some sort of problem with your pick. i get that all the time...stupid crappy fender ones

i wouldnt be surprised if all 6 strings snapped at once and the neck broke off.

^so you play bass with a pick? i was never able to do that. do you ever play with fingers? it makes things sound fatter if youre into that sort of thing. im sure you know that. dont mean to insult your intelligence.

I play classical guitar. But my friend has an electric and I used finger picking on that okay. Why restrict yourself to 1 finger when you have 5? (including thumb). Oh but I don't use my pinky.

you cant palm mute with your fingers smart kid. If you just play clean, whatever. Why not be more diverse and versatile and use fingerpicking and picking eh? what now :p
