1) No. Although, that would have been easy to do "Dethroned Emperor".
2) No. Larry and I tossed them around more then once, but never seriously looked at it.

I'm trying to think of something mellow that isn't obvious.

I would love to hear a metal cover of Deep Purple's "Child In Time"
I think there is a lot of room for creativity in that one.

Funny you mention "Child In Time"....back when I first joined ND, I thought that would be a great cover to do with C.J.'s voice doing all the "oooh" and "ahhh" parts in the choruses, and make it really doomy and epic. Obviously Paul would sound a bit silly trying to do those Ian Gillan falsetto parts, haha, and you can't really do the song without that melody there because it's the hook!

So yeah, cool idea but not something we'd do these days.
