Guess who moved in over the weekend?

gourmet cooks definitely use food processors.

one thing i like about cooking is that it's ultimately utiltarian. real chefs will use any tool that works well, and not turn their noses up at using a little gas torch to sear the tops of creme brulee ("oui oui, i must use zee traditional rubbeeng two steeks together method"), or a food processor to puree or blend, et cetera.

OH MAN we had a food day at work (food day = monthly occurrence on which about 12 or so people are signed up to bring food) and i forgot to bring anything so i ended up running next door to white castles for a crave case. MY CAR STILL SMELLS even though they were only in there for like 9 mintues.

hahaha. let's put it this way: having been recently faced with homelessness, i have decided that's better than letting her move in with me.

good luck!

i'm sure that must be all they have in common because honestly, no two people can be that alike. plus, i'm a girl. my friend would live fine with guys.

* she was born in Belarus and lived there until she was 11, and her parents are heavily accented and she speaks to them in either Russian or Byelorussian, I can't tell which

* she's very blunt, which i think can be a good thing.
