Guitar Competition 3 final round

I almost made another two rounds because of the number of participants, but decided to just do one final round and give it extra time. A total of 16 participants made it through the previous rounds, a far higher number than I had hoped for. Some rounds were very close, so to be fair I had to let multiples through to the finals.

I suggest you download the files and import them into your DAW for quick, easy comparison and then filter your vote by process of elimination. Keep comparing two, deleting the inferior one until only one remains.

This round will get 10 days.

When voting, please keep in mind this is about the guitar tone. Some have louder guitars than others. No extreme differences though. Some files were submitted with master bus changes. These were disqualified. Some files were submitted with a much louder backing track. These too were disqualified. All the uploaded files here have been checked, but it may be that we missed a mistake. If you hear that someone didn't follow the rules let Anssi and myself know.

I dig the squishiness and panned guitars of 7A. 5A's really, really good too...

Though I prefer 7A's lead tone more. 7A it is.

Yeah, there were definitely a couple in here that weren't up to part with LOT of the entries that didn't even make it this far

I choose 2A mainly because it sounded good, and sounded different. I swear I heard the same setup 9 times.

I don't know, 5a is really boomy on some of the palm mutes.

That's what Lasse said in one of the rounds... it turned up at least half of them were real amps.

Still, it would be interesting to find some common traits in the final tones. Also curious if the winner is going to be a raw or a heavily processed tone, a real amp or an amp sim, a real cab or an impulse, etc... Oh and I wonder if it's going to be the loudest clip, too ;/
