Ok, so I'm working on a project now, and I'm editing guitars. Basically all I'm doing is strip silencing a track, then going in and aligning the beginning of each section, and using flextime to align everything in the selected region of the track.

This turns out sounding great, but it takes FOREVER. I've always heard people talk about various different ways to add realism to PODS.

Any pointers?

As for guitar editing man, what your doing now works fine, you dont actually have to align the tracks as you should be treating them separately and not as a group, if you want mechanical tightness. As for adding realism to pods, pick up PSP Vintage Warmer, its reasonably cheap and goes a long way to making them more ballsy. Also try using some impulses, if your not already, there's heaps of great free ones around.

pointers?? use pro tools ;)

Nah i kid logic's editing is getting there. but it still aint quite at P.T's standards.
For starters you cant strip silence multiple tracks. useless..
