Did I post this here already? I posted it on chris' forum, but i don't remember doing it here....anyways

No one needs inlays when there are dots on the top of the neck. My bass is the same way and it worried me when I first bought it, but it's proven to not make any difference at all.

You just have to get used to it. All my guitars got inlays so I never mind the dots at the top of the neck.
 
In the photo where it stands up and doesn't have a guitar stand, you don't see the very top if it. I assume someone/something holds it there.

He actually ordered it without the markers on the neck too, but Ibanez messed up. He was bummed, but let it slide.

Did you do the photog work on this. If so VERY VERY nice !!!

I really like it, I was an Ibanez junkie for over 15 years (recently switched to my own home built guitars and Ernie Ball) but this is probably the nicest custom shop guitar i have seen from them in years.
