Reamped through bx_rockrack. I'm surprised how well it worked for this kind of stuff. Used some free plugins, SHB-1 for bass & tubedriver with ts999 for the leads (just added a little bit of shreddiness to the rockrack sound, not a lot like with other guitar amp sims). Some very basic EQing and effects. Steven Slate drums (a hybrid of the Dream Theater and Metallica kits I made).

Well here's my stab at the reamping and mix!

I used a HK Triamp MKII and tubescreamer. Bass is using the SansAmp plugin and drums are SD2. Can't wait to take on the next one!

I know right? What's up with the fg-x comp sounding pumpy? I can't use it either because even getting 1db or gr with slow attack and fast release sound pumpy sometimes it's so weird. That being said I still love fg-x
