Hi. I have a Jackson Soloist from the mid 90's which has the stock Jackson Active Pickups. When I switch from the Bridge to the neck pick-up sometimes it will not pick up any sound and if I wiggle the pick up switch around I can hear it, but mostly I have to move it back to the bridge then to the neck. I check to make sure none of the wires were loosed. Any Ideas what might cause this?

Sounds like a cold solder joint. Redo all the solders with a hot soldering iron. If you're not confident in yourself, have a friend do it for you.

If it behaves the same, it's high time for a new switch.

If it worked previously and now does not, I would rule out the cold-solder joint. Sounds like a bad switch to me - should be easy enough to replace. I'll be doing the same with my Ibanez this week (already re-soldered all joints fearing a bad solder from my replacements).
