Guitar Rig 4 - Insert or Send?

Hey Guys!
I'm a total newbie in recording stuff! I'm having a high processor problem when using Guitar Rig 4!
I don't know if I should use it as an insert or send...

I mean... my tracks work fine, but processor goes 100%!

I'm using double tracked guitars, and using a GR4 as insert at each track, and a track with Superior Drummer.. that's all!

Should I use GR as a send track?

My processor is: Intel(M) Core(TR)2 Duo CPU T5450 @ 1.66Ghz
2Gb RAM

I know its not a big deal, but I think it should handle 2 Guitar Rig inserts, and another track for SD, right?

Just bounce files when you are satisfied with the sound.

I think too that better is to make bounce file when you have settings you like.

I'm on a very similar setup... have you set your system to page memory??

I send all my guitar tracks out to aux tracks and add the rig or whatever else to the aux...

but as above... the best way is to get best tone you like and bounce...

I've favoured the rig mainly for FX/Comp/Gate etc and use the other ampsims found on this forum for amps and impulses...

only if you bounce the DI too. chances are you'll want to revise the tone later or may need to do some editing

Start by reading the manual to your DAW. You find the information there.
