Guitar tone competition 3 round 2

This round will get 7 days because I am uploading two rounds at once.

When voting, please keep in mind this is about the guitar tone. Some have louder guitars than others. No extreme differences though. Some files were submitted with master bus changes. These were disqualified. Some files were submitted with a much louder backing track. These too were disqualified. All the uploaded files here have been checked, but it may be that we missed a mistake. If you hear that someone didn't follow the rules let Anssi and myself know.

All uploaded files are 320kbps mp3s.Note that there is no 2D, this entry was disqualified.

I would have voted 2A but really disliked the lead tone.

It's a toss-up for me between 2E and 2F. But I think I prefer 2E.

Went with E. F is way too hollow sounding, scooped, etc for my taste. I wouldn't buy an album that sounded like that.

Voted 2A. I didn't like the rest at all, especially B and C.

I liked 2G because it has some nice mids that make guitars sound aggresive; I call it "scrappy" in spanish. Guitars are defined.

on C i loved that effect in the center guitar, but the tone it's not that cool...

i ponderated G until i heard the awful center guitar tone...

So i'm going with E here...

Yikes, not a big fan of this batch - guess I'm gonna have to go with 2F, though it's a bit whoompy for my tastes, but better that than the others, which IMO are either fizzy (2A), undergained (2E), nasally (2G), muffled/honky (3A, 2C), or insanely scooped (2B)

Haha, this and a few other adjectives persistently come to mind while listening to most of the submissions thus far. Sometimes it's even a nasty combination of flaws.

It reminds me how much I'm focusing on what I dislike first and what I like later, which is probably not always the best mindset to have but I digress.

Well this is the first batch I've listened to (missed out on round 1, round 3 I'll get to later today), so I'd like to think I entered with some optimism But I really just can't call any of these particularly good, so I had to focus on the negatives to decide which bothered me the least :/

Haha, crap, was one of these yours dude? I'm gonna guess 2C since it kinda sounds like a T75 tone And yeah, I submitted an entry, though I don't necessarily expect it to do any better since I used ampsims + impulses (and I suck with them ), but we shall see! (don't think mine has come up yet)

No, I was in first round but I can't tell you witch clip was mine (you have to listen for find)
