Guitar Tone Competition IV! ROUND 6

It is time to vote for your favorite guitar tone. The winners of the 8 rounds advance to the finals. All finalists get a special LSD drum package and the winner of the whole competition wins a Wolfe Amplification Stinger amp.

If you recognise your own work, please keep it to yourself. Usernames will be made public in the end. Please place your vote and write constructive criticism or comments about all the submissions.

FYI also for potential voters to read - do not make multiple accounts to be able to vote more than once etc. - your votes will be disqualified. Same for posting on other sites saying "just go vote for me" etc.

Haven't seen any issues yet, but just posting due to past issues with voting competitions like this.

I liked 62 and thought it was the most rounded and even.

64 was really good but also really loud!

61 - doesn't sound like anything special it seems
62 - bass ruins it for me
63 - too much 400hz but other than that it's good
64 - too loud and with some strange 1.2khz ringing (probably the bass)

I vote for 63

Just re-listening on headphones and I should have voted for 62 instead of.. haha (sorry, mr.62 )
61 had too much gain, 63 lacks a bit of body, and 64 is too much bass for me.

64 was the only full sounding one here though it was pretty loud. I like that they went for something a bit different with the bass too.

My comments on these:

61: Otherwise "just okay", but has a really cool sounding subtle effect on the guitars, I'm not sure what it is, but it works as an effect really nicely.
62: I dig the bass tone, but it doesn't mix together well with the guitars
63: A bit too much honky 400-600 range mids on the guitars and the leads are a bit dry to my taste, but otherwise it's good basic tone
64: Not my cup of tea. The bass is maybe a bit too "metal" sounding to the track and it doesn't sit well with the guitars and the slap back effect on the breaks sounds a bit obnoxious.

61: A bit messy because of the loud bass, but still a nice listen.

62: Nice edgy Rhythm guitars and generally nice and open sounding mix. Clear bass but not overpowering, nice. Winner for me.

63: A bit "hollow" rhythm guitars, overall not a bad mix at all.

64: Sounds interesting, really heavy and very different from the other entries so far. Not a big fan of huge distorted bass though I have to admit it works here.

The easiest to pick a winner from so far.
