You have more gain than the marshall, the Crunch channel works awesome to dial in rythm tones, plus independent eq & fat switch, the ultra channel is great for dialing your lead tones & what is killer is the clean channel has enough headroom to crank the volume on it without the clank from the marshall, a great feature is independent volume for all 3 channels & a master volume, you get all this it's still all tube 120 watts, and you don't pay those high prices for the "cosmetic amps", you can get what i call a vintage but modern marshall sound out of it, i hope this helps.

You don't even need an amp anymore, go direct with a POD. Thats what Miles Beyond and Blind Guardian use. You get a better live sound and you can pretty much customize the sound anyway you want.
