They're very different programs. Vector graphics and raster graphics is more than apples and oranges. The fact that lizard constantly misuses coreldraw does not mean it sucks .

I use version 11 in class and version 8 at work, and quite frankly there isn't a great deal of difference between them. 11 is a little more streamlined but it doesn't do anything that previous editions didn't do. Get your hands on 12 if you can, there's a 30 day trial version available on the Corel website... it's a whole lot better. Otherwise like unhinged, I'll send you a "special disc".

to be perfectly honest, I've heard so much good stuff about photoshop but this is what the Agency authorizes us to buy, so....
