Lately I've been giving Zen Arcade a hell of a lot of play time, absolutely fantastic album. Perhaps the greatest album to come out of the 1980s, and I'd be willing to say out of the past 3 decades. It is just so complete in every way. Has the punk attitude, the hardcore spirit, and the musical versatility of so many other genres. Jazz influences, blues, country, psychedelic rock, etc.
New Day Rising is great even with being less ambitious as the legendary Zen Arcade!
