Hammerfall are great. Legacy Of Kings in my opinion is their best album but the rest are great too and not far behind. I saw them open for Dio on December 13, 2002 in New York. It was a great show and Hammerfall converted alot of fans into their style of metal. "Let The Hammer Fall" is a great power metal anthem.
Other bands like this worth checking out are Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Edguy, Helloween, Tad Morose, Dionysus, Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, Brainstorm, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Rage, Gamma Ray, Primal Fear, and Dream Evil. There are so many great European power metal bands. If some of this music would gain exposure in America the reception would be awesome.
one of those songs where everyone puts their lighters up in the air type of thing. Like Metallica's Nothing Else Matters.
