jenn: (as i said, i feel really weird referring to anyone as bleedingfilth nice pics we didn't have quite as much candy here, but had a good lot of it... couldn't go trick-or-treating (was in a play (the 7 year itch) and then had to study like mad for a math test), but my apartment-mates and i bought a boatload of candy to munch on

Well, I didn't really expect anybody to show up anyway. Here in good (c)old Germany, Halloween doesn't have the tradition that it has in the States. Actually, a few years ago Halloween was practically unheard of in this country. Right now you see pumpkins everywhere, dressed up-children in the streets and "Halloween specials" on TV. Or you hear people talking about "Halloween parties" (mostly that means getting together in order to watch 'Blair Witch Project'... Am I the only one who thinks that this movie is not as scary as people always claim?). Anyway, it's pretty obvious that some people (probably pumpkin growers and candy manufacturers) are trying to establish Halloween over here.

I only went trick-or-treating once. That was in the US though.

Same here in Italy!
I´ve celebrated Halloween for the past few years doing a "murder party" or a "vampire role play game" (btw I play D&D every Sundays). This year we where in a very big villa isolated from the rest of the world...near woods and fields...that was a bit scary. I was dressed up like Death ( people who are familiar with Sandman know who I am talking about). the party was really cool, ate a lot and drank too much...

argh, that movie... i saw that in the theater a few weeks after it opened... damn camera movements made me throw up :/ i don't get motion sick or anything usually, but just couldn't take that movie... :/
