actually, I'm trying to sound cooler than I really am here. I was just adjusting volume levels and applying a basic graphic EQ, then monitoring it once making sure that it didn't clip. :u-huh:

ITP I inquire about the easiest way to rip vinyls to your computer. I like listening to vinyls but sometimes they'll be just one song I want to hear or some such situation.

Yup

then you probably have to (like I did) have to just play with the sound levels and graphic EQs in a program like Soundforge, (I don't really have an amp)
 
Yeah make sure you're playing through an amp or something else like that... if you don't, everything will sound weak and ghey.
 
having mp3s of stuff you have on vinyl is so awesome. whenever someone posts a rip on the anus boards or something of some vinyl i already have, it's like christmas morning
