Hardcore song with powerful drums, best sound I've gotten

Dirthead and Addictive Drums again. Used GuitarHack's Mesa Edge.

whats your settings for Dirthead? you use impulses aswell?

Dirthead is setup with everything at 3 o' clock, except input gain and master. The voicing and presence might be different too.
It's quadtracked, with the cab sim turned off. I use Voxengo with GuitarHack's Mesa Edge. It's heavily EQ'd, and compressed with Waves C4.

Hmm, not bad dude, though it sounds pretty muffled (could benefit from some more presence), which is only added to by the quad-tracking making the notes sound undefined (you gotta be ridiculously tight to quad-track, and lowering the gain would probably help). Also, some of the palm mutes get super woofy. I can definitely hear the Engl mids in the tone, though, which I guess is a testament to whomever made Dirthead, cuz sounds like he hit the mark!
