It's watered down riffs from Dark Tranquility played in the style of Amorphis or My Dying Bride, except meandered endlessly, aimlessly, and monotonously with pointless acoustic guitars thrown in.

Plenty of thrash songs, on the other hand, will throw in 30 riffs in a 5 minute song along with plenty of tempo changes, which accomplishes more than Opeth does in an entire album. Hell, Burning of Sodom does it in a mere 3 minutes. Power metal has plenty of great leads don't slack off in the riff department either, and even flower bands like Rhapsody certainly demonstrate far more diversity than Opeth.

Opeth is probably my least favorite metal band that I can think of, they're just trendy, vastly overrated bullshit that dares call itself metal. Most others, even Ancient, have something redeeming about it.

That fageteer grimandcrabbitten links to a site called "wouldyouhitthis.com". On that site he spends hours a day reviewing 13-15 yr old girls. Fucking pathetic! Go get a girlfriend you homely fuck!


That site is riddle with gothenburg haters, anti-opethians, and any band that performs in front of an audience larger than their mother, father, sister, brother, and 3 cousins.
