Alexi wrote Hate Me and Kissing the Shadows lyrics very well....one being about hate and the other love in a mysterious way. He's a great lyricist and he should really put all his lyrics in the book even if he thinks they are shitty. I think they stand out to a lot of people.

You're right lady laiho. The lyrics are perfect.Kissing the Shadows's lyrics are emotional I think. But some people can't understand this. They just say "Alexi is a psychopat, sadist or things like that. But I don't agree with them.Because you can't say that a song is greath with looking at it's lyrics.Because sometimes melody talks with you, tells you something about love, hate or death.Bed of Razors is a good example for that. When I listen this song I want to hug my grilfriend and kiss her forever. But my friends say "This horrible scream makes you cry?!You're a maniac...".I think it^s a pity for them.
lol i agree, Alexi may get a little drunk and crazy, but he's no pshychopath. Also, he is not a Satanist, he's an Atheist
I dont give a flying fuck about the lyrics. It's all about the instrumentation. the lyrics are well written, for the most part, and god only knows Needled 24/7 is about divorcing Kimberly Goss (away from you is like being closer to heaven, then again its like being needled 24/7) his true musicianship shines through the work of the instruments.
instrumentation is important but also lyrics are important I think
