Have a feeling joey may use preamp American classic in his mastering chain

I saw in one of joey videos that he uses a line 6 preamp in his mastering
I've tried it and the American classic really helps my mixes heaps am I crazy thinking this? Maybe joey could answer lol cheers

If this is the case, his signal chain would have been mix specific. What works for Joey's mix may not necessarily work good for your mix. Trust your ears, if using the american classic in your master track sounds good to you then do it! I often use it on my guitar tracks in the pod farm chain, it just sounds like 250Hz wide boost and high end roll off with 3 - 6KHz corrective attenuation, nothing that couldn't be replicated with an EQ

Personally, one post about this is one to many. Considering the fact that each tone of his is mix specific like tmitchell33 said. Just because Joey Sturgis used it, doesn't make it gold without his mix.

I saw in a video that he used VST Chess once. Point made.
