Thanks eric. The show was great. We had a great time, and TROUBLE was amazing! Very poor turn out for a trouble show though. By the time Trouble hit the last tune, maybe about 30 people, and that includes us. I don't know if people left because of the time, but it actually seemed Ion Vein had the biggest gathering of the night. Shit, we opened the show and it seemed more people were there then for Trouble. Very strange. I loved the fact that I got to see them in such an intimate setting, but I'm sure they were not to pleased.
All in all though, we had a great time, and I think it was one of the best shows we've put on.

Yeah the gig was alot of fun. I wasn't anticipating much from this, but the crowd that was there were very receptive towards us, and by the last song they were headbanging and chanting along with Mike's fistbanging antics onstage LOL It was kind of "old school" the way the whole vibe of the show went, and it was pretty cool. A good example of how sometimes a small club show can turn out to be a blast.
Ion Vein were very good, and Vito was in heaven LOL The guy's in the band were nice to us and even helped Mike load in gear, which was nice. They had a drummer filling in for them after only practicing their songs three times, and this guy was so fucking good it scared me haha!
Trouble needless to say were excellent. You could tell they were a bit put off by the lack of crowd, but that didn't stop them from playing a nice long show and doing encores and the whole bit. I really wish you could have seen it, Eric, because I think you would have loved 'em.
I agree with Paul, I think it was one of our better performances, maybe not "note-for-note perfect", then at least our whole stage presentation and energy was right on. Even though I was sweating bullets trying to remember all of Eric's lead bits in "Awaken".....damn you to hell, bastard! LOL

That show was killer I had a blast and I think the crowd had a blast. I definetaly felt the most energy on stage given off from the band and the crowd from any other show I've played with the band. Haha and I WAS in heaven watching Ion Vein those guys rock and are extremely nice as well. This was the first time i actually saw a whole Trouble set, I saw them play a couple of songs at the cubby bear a while back cause we got there late after that gig we played at the Bottom Lounge, and I thought they were great. They had a great groove and were pretty heavy. I just got done seeing RATT at the brat stop with Firehouse, man was that great. Got myself a good ole RATT shirt, that'll be popping up in some Novembers Doom promo pics hahaha.

I really like Ratt, I don't give a fuck what anyone says. Warren Demartini is an excellent guitarist. I hate Firehouse, though, that's just blase' stuff.

Here's some humor: An old friend of mine in Virginia used to see Firehouse in the local bar scene when they were known as White Heat. Talk about flaming!

actually, i probably still owe YOU guys money for something somewhere along the way.
glad the show went well! and yeah, the only time i saw Trouble was at that first reunion show at Nite Cap. me and Mike were right up front next to the speakers, and i believe my right ear suffered some sort of permanent damage that night. i had some pictures, but i'm not sure where they are.
keep a shirt for me if you can.
