I have some sleeping problems too and it fucking sucks. But here's what I do to make it better: I turn off all really stimulating things like my computer or TV and play guitar for a bit then I sit in bed and read for quite a while to get my mind relaxed(reading, for me, is almost crucial for battling insomnia), then I try to listen to some hypnontic, chill music, like Nest, Buckethead, or anything.
It's been working lately so I've been happy.
