Wishing death on others and not learning to forgive is why you people are doomed. It's not about your religion of choice, it's about the way you use it.. May your God or Allah or whatever have mercy on your soul.
But some of them have the balls to wire themselves up with explosives and press Detonate at some vegetable market to kill lots of people. Because they actually think they will soon be fucking 700 virgins in their paradise. But I guess there are two sorts of people you shouldn't judge by the acts of a minority of individuals; the motor cycle gangs and these guys. Luckily I will just watch their conflict pan out in the news if I care. Maybe I would have more sympathy if it wasn't for these annoying death to Persians people.

He would have done the same to a 3 year old girl, who is a miracle of life and has the right to live, and knows nothing about politics. If this captain was decapitated by Israel itself it would've been an excellent display of willingness for peace and a noble act. He didn't even get a warning, despite his position, which is difficult to understand. Their opinion is quite clear already, why does it need to take humanity away? It was a psychotic breach of military authority. Their principles are more important than the lives of children. If I was the world dictator, I would at least feel very tempted to send a nuke up all their asses to tear Near-East off the Earth's face.
I have no side on this, except the side of peace, as I'm sure some of those people share and that's why you need to give them a chance. I used to be there and I didn't like what I saw, it was annoying, all the partiality.
FYI...missiles are propelled, bombs are dropped.
At least we don't strap bombs to our children and tell them its for Allah.

Now i do mostly agree with you.
I understand the feelings of the troopers. But it is the government that i despise. Criminal governments (not of just your country, of my country too) who send young guys to the death.

I remember the stories of Cold War, when those who tried to escape were shot as warning.. War is just an extreme form of foreign policy gone wrong. And those who are sent to the war are just pawns in the chess.
Yet that doesn't make up for what that Israeli captain figure pulled off. I felt sick last night as I was still thinking about it.
And of course refusal from fire arms is a good thought, but devoid of reality. When someone comes to me and says I refuse any and all actions of war, I tell him: if there was a gun on the table, and your wife and kids on the other side, and an enemy soldier, would you take the gun and shoot him, or let him take the gun and kill your family?
Mostly the horrors of warfare are something that happen in developing countries in these modern times, luckily...

The real problem that makes modern war last forever without a real winner and only thousands of deads left, is that today it is impossibile to control the enemy territory. It simple can't be in the post-colonialist and modern state era.
There's a long, long list of war crimes, many of them have been keep secret for years. There's still must be a line of what you can and what you can't do, even in war. But i understand that troopers go crazy after the war.
Almost every soldier, who fought in one war, suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. That's simple: human beings aren't made for the horror of the wars. So are peoples that suffer the war at their home.

This is why I think religion is fuckin' stupid. People use it as weapon nowdays. Look at all the people in Iraq, some of them go to war for some imaginary god who doesn't exist. And I can go on whole day talking about this. The same thing applies to every religious person.
