I don't usually mix on my Beats, they're one of my many reference cans. I use ATH-M50's for the bulk of my mixing. Just gotta be wary of that low end they like to lie about. I hate headphones. Hate

Looks like the HD600's are quite popular, and the AKG's look damn nice for mixing / editing as well. The extreme isolation headphones might just be my choice for drummers.

Also newly bought Shure SRH 940. They sound great, but when it comes to hearing the low end, I think it lacks.

I picked up the SRH 240's a few years ago for $60 just for sending click to drummer.

You're totally correct - no low end at all and tons of high mids and harshness.
