So I've started mixing this EP, and I've got things roughed in. I just started working on automation and clearing space for the vocals today, but I'm worried if things are still sound a tad cluttered in the mid-low midrange.
I think the bass needs more work, not happy with it overall. Tom levels are kinda all over the place as I haven't yet done any automation on them.
Thoughts?
Guitars were various baritones through a Bogner Uberschall and Uberkab on the left, Diezel VH4 and Rivera cab on the right. Bass was a MusicMan Sterling (the US model) through an Orange Micro Terror (yup....) for the grit and the Sansamp BDDI/straight DI for the girth.
