Hell and all hallows eve

Fear not ladies and gents.
I havn't sold 'em yet. Been busy, but I will try and get them up this or next week. Sorry, it's been so long guys.
I'll let you all know real soon. Reading up on how ebay works now.

Also, I have a municipal waste t-shirt Xl size signed by all members. How much do you reckon that could go for?

Kind regards,
Max.

Right, I'd like to say don't put the All Hallows Eve EP on eBay. I'll buy it off you. That way you would have to pay sellers fees etc, etc AND it'll go to someone who all but completes their collection.

Fuck eBay. If it sells for £100 the band are going to make NOTHING from it and it'll all go in your pocket. Well, after eBay have raped you for fees. ;)

Lol. I've checked the sellers fees and for me, they're totally reasonable.
Out of curiosity, how would the band make a profit out of a demo if it's sold to you directly? =P
I'll put them all up on ebay individually so everyone has a fair chance to buy them. All hallows eve will probably start at £30. Same with the other 2 items.

Regarding the sellers fees, fair enough. I was just using them as a tool to try and convince you to sell the EP outside of eBay...

The band wouldn't make a profit from me buying the EP, but it falling into my hands would avoid the band being exploited by a collector buying this EP via your eBay auction, keeping it in a box for 20 years and selling it on to make twice the price they originally bought it for in the future. That might sound far fetched to you, but I can assure you it DOES happen. You might make a lot of money from selling it on eBay, but you run the (huge) risk of it not being played or appreciated for years afterwards.

What do you think Ol or any of the other guys would say about that? They'd probably say it would be a damn shame. They'd probably say whoever it was were idiots for spending so much on the All Hallows Eve EP as well  ... but yeah, that's basically my point.

If you start the bidding at £30 then you'll put a lot of people off, and shatter what you just said about giving everyone a fair chance to buy them. It's an auction, it's not fair! It will sell to the person who has the most funds available.

Fair point. But personally, the reason i'm selling these is to make money I desperately need. As long as it all sells for a reasonable amount and I've been fair about it, then that's all that matters.

In regards to the band, LOL! I know that Matt and Ol would just say the EP's are shit anyway (Which they're not). =P

Hmm, I thought 30 would be reasonable, but this is my first try with ebay. I'll do some more research. :)

Yeah, you could always do that. If it goes on eBay I won't be bidding

Nah, if you're just trying to make as much money as possible put it up for a £30 starting bid. Hopefully you'll get £100 for it or something.

'In regards to the band, LOL!' - I know Matt and Ol think the EP is shit, but do you think they wouldn't care about you pocketing a fuck load of cash off selling their work?

I only bid with 8 seconds left. Bidding any time sooner is stupid, all it does it put the price up. People who put their maximum bids in, or bid in general days in advance are idiots.

Chances are if this goes on eBay by that time I won't be prepared to pay such an amount for it.

Yeah, it's not a one horse race because it's going on eBay. Which means if you want it Siobhan, you're going to have to pay a lot of money for it.

Well if it goes up, I'll bid, regardless. This seems to be a one Podg horse in this discussion :( What about meee? hahaha

Lol. Don't you worry Siobhan. It'll all go on Ebay so you'll have a chance. I reckon I'll start the bids at around 20 quid so the price starts out quite fair.

Alrighty.

I am just off to get these items weighed and get the post and packaging prices. I will only be shipping within the UK and the T-shirt will go on a 10 day auction starting today. My username is Stormrider6266.

Enjoy folks.
