Haha, that's what will happen when you get a lens that has wide-angle capabilities and shoot subjects from a low position. Maybe it was meant to say "The gods of Marshall tower over Sabbat" or the Photographer didn't think about it much.

You can use that to your advantage if you know about it. For example: it used to be common practice to shoot bodybuilders in front of mountains and make the mountain in the background look smaller than the bodybuilder to accentuate his "massive size".

can't say anything 'bout Andy, 'cause i've never met him, gigged with sabbat though, so i could only comment bout those guys.
great bunch of musicians and metalheads martin is a very funny and intelligent guy, but not the tallest, so i guess that's why he's a little more in front.

actually, had to brighten martin up a bit thats all, but it gives him a certain glow lol. Did the out of focus back ground bit just for effect, I'm 6 ft , couple of others arent haha. Hence quad power amp being stood on is out of shot.
