Hello ya wankers! 
Ok, first off I'll confess I miss ya all! Even though I haven't read nor written on this board for eons (read: months) it feels like it's been decades since my last "appearance" here.
Whatever be the case, here's my remedy to the situation.
Thales, a band of which most of you already know I'm the drummer/songwriter of, is still alive and kicking. We just finished writing the riffs for the "6th track" of our upcoming album, making it up to a total running time of about 50 minutes of (dark, progressive, energeticl) metal at six tracks. Naturally, there are acoustic/clean vocal passages with transitions to heavy and dark distortorted riffs, but you shouldn't expect "a copy of Opeth" because we're not copying/plagiarising/ripping off Opeth nor any other bands; we're merely making the music our hearts tells us to.
No we're not signed (yet).
We are unique.
We are gay.
(P.S. Oh by the way, those of you who downloaded the piano / keyboards infected track by me (Orchid): there's something more of the sorts coming up shortly. I've got the half of the track jotted down and it's very space-esque. I'm pretty sure you'll like it.
