Checked the HD's with speedfan, they're supposedly in good shape.
Getting the new Presonus drivers and what not has made mixing a session of 20 tracks with numerous plugins work without a hitch. Can't go below 16 ms of latency or it turns into bacon frying.
I can only hope the same will hold true for tracking.
A question on latency that has probably been answered somewhere that I need to look: If you record a guitar track, then record a second guitar track along to the first and there is 1000 samples of latency, do you bump the 2nd guitar track up 1000 samples?
