Help me choosing the best mix between those 2

Hails,

I have difficulties choosing between 2 different mixes:

They are quite different. I tend to think the 1st one is better but I also feel it lacks the power of the 2nd one.
Can you guys tell what you think of it and which one you would choose?
Also if you have advices they are welcome (this is my 1st mix).

Hmm not really my cup of tea here, but I'll go ahead and say I feel that the vocals need less reverb but I'm on my laptop speakers now and I'm assuming you're after that reverbed-out vox style.

the differences may be prevalent to you (because you mixed it)... however to me, the mixes sound too similar to compare (from what i hear).

Yeah I was going to mention the "far away" bit as well. Guitars and bass seem muddy. Snare could use a bump of low end. I think if you lowered the 'verb on the vocals it'd make the whole mix seem cleaner.

i would choose the first one although i don't like the reverb on the vox, the bass pops out sometimes and the bassdrum has bit too much kick for a mix like that, imo it should sound rather muffled. with that fixed it would sound like a solid raw black metal mix.
