Help me improve my lead tone (ENGL Fireball, THD Hotplate, Apogee One, Recabinet)

Title says it all really. I'd like to see if there are some ways I can improve my lead tone I just find it to be a bit too harsh for my tastes in this clip. I realize this is a very subjective thing, but I'd like to throw it out there to some of you more experienced producers to learn and few EQing tips and tricks.

I should point out that this is a very raw clip. I haven't really done anything to it apart a high/lo pass filter and added some stock reverb.

needs compression on the master bus

subtractive eq and low pass/high pass all the tracks more
