Help me out here Maiden historians.....

This is bugging the bejesus out of me. I remember Steve Harris wearing clothes on stage very similar to the ones Wanda has in the photo's. She said she looked through a whole bunch of old pictures to get Steve's onstage look..

I remember Steve in the striped and checkered look but cannot recall the when.

This one I have seen in an old video on youtube of Phantom Wanda has nailed that look in the below shot.

However this one I remember but cannot place the era, I think Seventh Son?

The checkered is.......Piece of Mind?

I had a look through some of my pics to try and find some of the different era's of Steve and this is what I found.

This is from the Powerslave booklet.

Judging by the white stage set, I'd say this was SSOASS era.

Also SSOASS and the only pic I could find with some checks in it - on his bass strap.

This one is very early, Killers era I would say.

These ones I haven't a clue really!

Hope that helps a bit.

The "Iron What" is from the Numder of teh Beast tour.I think he wore strpied spandex alot on the Powerslave tour.

Had a look through some of my Maiden booklets and found this in the Best Of The Beast book. It is indeed from the POM era.

God I love Steve, he gets so into it during a show... I remember him pointing right at me during the show in 96 and I screamed at the top of my lungs (my voice can really get high-pitched) at him and he pumped his fist at me and said "Yeah!!"

Aside from the musicianship, the costumes are what make the Maidens mirror images of the guys in the band... the torn up, sleeveless vest that Liz wears just floors me... its almost truly like looking at a female Adrian Smith...
