Help me pick a 4x12 cab.....

Ok, deadline approaching for my studio session for my band.

Now, I got my 5150 mk1 amp now.......and I have a 5150 Slant cab.....and a Crate Straight BV 4x12 cab with "supposedly" Vintage 30's.

The Crate sounds way better than the 5150 cab I think.....but I'll probably sell the 5150 cab, and get another cab with v30's just for good measure.

Should I go with :

Randall RS412XL -ebay $450-600

Marshall 1960AV -ebay $550-750

Soldano 4x12 -ebay $600-900

Mesa??? *lot of different kinds -ebay $500-900

Bogner, Framus, Engl ......$1000+ kinda outta my range....

maybe a brand I didn't mention for under a grand ?

Get the Soldano, or Mesa 4x12 TRADITIONAL sized cab [vintage 30's], or the Marshall 1960AV. note that the marshall AV/BV cabs do NOT have vintage 30's. they are a custom make that marshall had produced for this cab, they are not vintage 30's, although they are similar. people just go around saying they have vintage 30's for some reason, I'm not sure why.

The best match for the 5150 I've found is the Bogner Uberkab with 2 V30's and 2 G12T75's. They're expensive and tough to find though, so I would just get a Marshall or Mesa cab and replace 2 of the speakers.

Bought it used from some pothead for 375 dead mint.

Mesa, Marshall, Bogner, Rivera... really any quality cab with V30's and G12t75's in an X pattern will sound great. You get V30 crunch and G12t75 tightness all in one cabinet.
