custom TS pedal

First of all I would like a tip of a rack multi efx processor, I was thinking g major, but I thought you guy's maybe had any better idea :)

And to the little problem. I would like to have my rig controlled by midi.
So I'll need something to controll the 3 channels and the fx loop of the rectifier.
And then controlled the TS pedal infront of the amp.

You could get a DMC GCX, or an Axess GRX4, but that seems like a big investment for just one pedal.

The TC G Major is the shit, I use it myself, along with legions of fans, so you really cant go wrong with it, but there are other options out there, you just got to do a bit of research.

I would just stick the TS in front of the amp using lo tech instrument cables, and then use a MIDI pedal (Behringer FCB1010, Rocktron MIDIMate, DMC Ground Control, there are tons) to control the Multi effect and the amp (G Major can switch channels on a Recto), and use your foot for the TS.

Yeah, I have been thinking of the GCX, It has so many possibilitis with it.
But it sure is expensive, I was hoping for a cheaper solution, but the GCX alone solves all my problems.

Could you use any midi contoller with it, or do you need to have the ground control with it?

You can use any MIDI controller with the GCX, as far as I know. It is a lot for a single pedal, but if you plan on adding more pedals to your setup, it'll be convenient in the future.

MIDI was created to be a universal language, so anything that has a MIDI I/O should be compatible.
