Help with wiring EMG on 4 conductor ?

Hi. I'm going nuts!
I got a 4 pins barrel and have only used 3 pins barrels before....
Check below on the picture ... The jack to the right is the new one and I don't have a clue what is what on these pins unless the ground....
Anyone please.... Want my beast up running fast but right now I don't know what is what :zombie:

Do you have a voltmeter?
If not, hardware stores sell them.
Just plug a cord into the jack, touch one probe on a pin, other on the cord plug, test all the combinations, write down the results.
no guessing, no errors.

I sorted it out later so if anyone else need help with this it should be wired like this:

Signal - the shortest contact
battery - medium long contact
Earth (ground) - ring contact.
Longest contact remains free.
