A friend of mine have two guitars on sale, an ESP LTD EC-50 with 2 EMG 85s and an IBANEZ RG470 with stock pickups. 250$ each.

What should i get?

Hmm, I'd pass on the EC-50, that's one of the absolute bottom-of-the-barrel models ESP makes (even if it has good pickups, it's still a cheap guitar). And does the Ibanez have a tremolo? If so, then I'd pass on it too, honestly

I love the original title of this thread Yeah man, I would have to agree with Metaltastic and go with the LTD. They usually take the cake when it comes to features and quality even at a low price. Good luck!
