I don't see the problem. You buy a t-shirt, drink beer, talk to your friends and wait for the show to start.

I have wasted hours of my life checking out support act that I thought would be interesting. With this one you know for sure what you are getting.

You have to put it in context. We as Europeans have seen these bands time, after time, after time. You as an American want to see those bands and would be ecstatic if you could go to a festival with such a billing. I understand what you are saying, but for us in Europe the situation is completely different.

Every summer I look up the amazing lineups from Wacken, Bang Your head, KIT and dozens of other festivals with envy. The only thing we really have is Prog-Power in North America - a 15-hour car ride away.
